After lots of back and forth, I've decided to keep my online journal going.

It's true that I am not a very dedicated blogger. I never have been, really. I don't even like the word 'blog.' But what I do like are the connections made through online journals. They are remarkable – threads connecting a person on the other side of the world to me, here in the Pacific Northwest.

I do like posting little bits of my days, from time to time. Maybe a project I'm working on in the studio or a meal I cooked or a photo of my son, Liam. These things change, each day is a bit different.

I like to share these snapshots because, I hope, they give you a better sense of who I am, the person behind Satsuma Press.
